my mesopatamian problem

Life as a mesopatamian is hard espesially in the summer . Trying to keep the river waters from over flowing is the worst . I cant keep the water from over flowing even with irrigation systems .Me and my family just moved from Zargros mountains . I believe it cant get any worse . We arr struggling alot due to water floods, Dryness and more.Irrigation systems help alot but i still have no answer to this .
